Used as the foundation for other klister layers

Apply a thin layer through the grip zone and iron in. Allow to cool completely before applying a top layer klister. 

Base layer ensures a better bond between the top grip layer and ski for grip longevity and durability, particularly in abrasive snow conditions

Base wax can be used as sole grip wax in cold conditions
